  BLUE NOTES FOR TUESDAY, MAY 29, 2007

 

Anne Harkonen has tickets for sale again this evening.  Don’t wait until the last-minute rush!

 

Remember that tickets can be purchased on line through our website (www.northshorechoral.org) and may be charged to Visa or MasterCharge. However, since there is a small charge to us for doing so,  buying from Anne is the way to go.  (Still, on-line tickets are better than no tickets at all.)

 

Many posters are still available for last-minute distribution. And they may also be forwarded to friends from our email attachments. Thanks once again to Joan Daugherty for her contributions to both posters and postcards.

 

Next Tuesday’s rehearsal, on June 5, will be held here at Trinity Lutheran as usual.  Our “dress” rehearsal will be at St. Luke’s from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 9.  Help will be needed with setting up on Friday afternoon and taking down on Saturday afternoon—and of course with up and down on Sunday as well. More specific information--including our call time on Sunday--will be available next week.

 

As the result of our spring patron mailing, a number of donations have been received.  Nevertheless, more are needed in order for us to continue to offer the kinds of quality concerts that we and our audiences expect.

 

Our last three Jewel shopping days of this season immediately follow our concert, on June 11, 12, and 13.  Coupons will be available, provided once again by Harry Vroegh.

 

Auditions for the William Ferris Chorale will be held on Monday and Tuesday evenings, June 11 and 12.  The 2007-2008 season includes three mainstage concerts, four non-subscription events, and a major recording for Cedille Records.  Openings are available in all voices for paid positions.
