.........APRIL 12 the men will rehearse with Donald at Northminster Presbyterian Church beginning at 7:30 . The women will rehearse with Sharon at the Unitarian Church as usual.

Want/Need help with Beethoven? Practice CDs are available tonight for $2.00. (CDs also include German assistance for The Creation , which now can be ignored.) And www.cyberbass.com comes in handy for help with individual vocal parts.

CDs of The Creation may be ordered this evening: a two-CD set for $20.00.

Librarian Gary Hendrickson has several Beethoven scores for those who are still in need. If you don't have one, please ask your neighbor to share-and plan on purchasing a copy next week. If you do have one and a needy person is sitting next to you, please share.

Welcome to these new members: soprano Anne Humphrey, and basses Artin Kendimian, John Summerhays, Kevin Wiland, and David Wojtowicz.

Many thanks to Kay Rossiter and her crew who prepared and mailed over 600 invitations to Spring into Song ; the stuffers, sealers, and stampers were JoAnne Gerules, Mars Longden, Marj Lundy, and Harry Vroegh. Joan Daugherty designed the invitation and had it printed. And Anthony Green prepared the mailing labels. Thanks also to all of us who helped set up and take down for the concert and rehearsals.

Harry Vroegh, who chairs the Nominating Committee, urges NSCS members to consider volunteering to assume the responsibilities of these positions for the 2005-2006 year:

  --treasurer (also a Board member), who also may be an assistant for           various treasury functions;

  --art chair, who has both artistic talent and a knowledge of computer         graphics;

  --community liaison chair, who assumes a public relations function;

  --Dominick's and Jewel days coordinator (beginning in January of           2006);

  --Benefit chair, who will organize a Benefit in the spring of 2006 if one         is decided on;

  --social chair, who coordinates juice servers at rehearsals and plans the         new members' reception in the fall.

Anyone interested in assisting NSCS by assuming one of these responsibilities should contact one of these Committee members:

Juice providers are still needed for April 5 and May 17. Sign up tonight.

It may be possible to arrange a group purchase to save a buck or two. Delivery takes from five to six weeks.
